How Can I be Successful at Being Real Estate Agent

Joshua Ramos
Posted

So I'm 16 years old and I was thinking so much about what would I do in the future, I'm planning to have a job of being a real estate agent so I could have some income to invest in real estate and as well as to learn how to sale because that's my weakness but I still have this doubt if that would be a good idea if I want to be a real estate investor. I want your advice and opinion about this because I'm really so confused for what I'm going to do in the future, to I invest in real estate.

Focus on a corporate career first, they will pay for your training. If you want to be in sales maybe start with retail. You can then upgrade into commercial sales, like construction equipment. Choose companies that have great training programs, they will invest in you and pay you while you do it.

It is very hard to be an agent under 30 years old, it can be done, but it's hard. People prefer an agent who is older than they are, not younger.

Your first move as an investor should be to house hack, buy a duplex, rent out one half. That's a no brainer and you can see how you like it.
