City-Data.com out of date?

This next year will be my first time purchasing out of state, and another investor recommended city-data.com for gathering data for my analyses.  The problem is that many of the dates are from 2017.  This seems pretty problematic.  Have you still found this resource to be helpful recently or do you use another source with more up-to-date information?

This is my first day on BiggerPockets and my first post.  Thanks for your help!
