Does anyone have any wholesaling advice/tips?

My fiancé and I want to be our own bosses. We want to be in charge of our own lives and we're both very passionate about real estate and want to invest in rental properties sometime in the near future. We have been looking into wholesaling as a form of bringing in income within the real estate industry, and have become interested in it.

I'm curious as to any advice anyone who has experience wholesaling has? Is it something that can be done as a full time job if you're serious about it? What kind of things should be in arrangement prior to starting out our wholesaling journey? What are the most effective methods you have found/had success with while wholesaling?
