Anyone working for a brokerage... I have questions

I'm a Junior in college, majoring in Finance and want to get into Commercial Real Estate in North Carolina after school. I think what I am looking to do is investment sales.

-Can anyone talk to me about the process of this and the different jobs I will have out of school, because I am assuming you have to work your way up in whatever brokerage or team you join?

-I am also looking for an estimate on what $$$ would look like in the first 5 years and then the 5 after that?

-tips on what is next (good information to read, types of internships i should be looking for).
