Hey Guys! Just Really getting into the REI mindset here! I just wanted to post my story and see what your stories are as well.

I'm on my 3rd flip, which I never intentionally started doing. I didn't know in the beginning that I was buying a house that was going to be a great flip. My first home was a live in, I made $35k two years later, we did basically no renovations. Maybe $2,500 total invested just trying to make our first house a home. I was only 19/20 at the time. At the time I guess I just bought a good deal because I had no REI mindset at that moment. This is when I made just as much as my yearly income just by selling our home.

My second house was purchased 3 years ago, I bought it because it offered what I needed but I saw potential. This is when my mindset started to change and I wanted to start flipping. We knew that we again, bought a house that if properly remodeled could give us some serious $$$. It made me almost $90k. And at this moment I am 25/26 years old and yearning to learn as much as possible REI information.

My third house is going to be a live in also, I purchased it for $60k below market value, my proudest purchase. It was only $30k, after investing $30k more into renovations it appraised for $175k. We will be sitting on this equity as we pursue a future into buy and hold properties.

Now I am 26 and seriously taking action to better my future for my family and myself. How did you get started and what is your story?
