Working at a Title Company as a way to get into Real Estate

I want to start with a bit of background and context. My goal is to be a Real Estate investor, and have financial freedom and more control over my life. What opened my eyes to the opportunities associated with Real Estate investing, was when I was out of the state for two years. During this period of time I put up my property for rent, and hired a property management company to manage it. The fact that I was making money off this property despite the fact that I wasnt even in the same state really made an impression on me. During that period of time I found BiggerPockets, and began ordering and reading multiple books.

Getting to my question. I recently got a job offer at a Title Company doing post closing work. Its a highly reputable company that has been around for 30+ years. Im obviously not in a position to where I can drop the 9-5 job yet. If I were to accept this offer, how valuable would the knowledge and experience gained be in moving towards my goal of investing in real estate? How valuable would the networking aspect be? I would be taking a  pay cut from my current job (which has nothing to do with real estate).

Is this a no brainer as far as this being significantly helpful in moving forward in my goals, or would I be better off staying in my current job and pursuing my goals in my off hours? How can I leverage the knowledge and networking opportunities to move forward in my goal of being a real estate investor.

Thank you!
