Finding the right mentor/partnerships

Hello all,

After reading through a few posts today, I keep reading about the importance of finding/building good partnerships ( my assumptions the same would hold for mentorships also). So my question is how do you find the best partners/mentors? Is this based on which market you fall in, or if their investment strategy more aligned with your goals, or is it based on other factors? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

JD Thomason
