Newbie looking to get in with right people

Hey guys! So recently I have been laid off from my job because of COVID related issues. I an taking it as an opportunity as opposed to being down about it. For the last 10 years or so i have been working in construction. I have worked on remodeling/ renovation crews as well as new construction crews. My most recent role was project management of new construction. So i have a pretty good understanding of the business. With this knowledge i have picked up over the years i want to start making something for myself and learning the business from an investor perspective. I am reaching out to all of my Philadelphia investors. I would be happy to join a team of investors or learn from an individual but just looking to learn as much as i can from the investor side of this business. My end goal will be a buy and hold strategy that i can cash flow off of monthly. I find that the most appealing to me as I believe that will give me the best chance to take back my time that we all give to the corporate world!!
