New Real Estate Investor Looking for Accountant in West Virginia

Antonio Figueroa
Posted

Hello BiggerPockets Community,

My college roommate and I recently decided to invest in rental properties as a source of supplemental income and hope to grow expand our portfolio over the next 20-30 years.

We are looking for an accountant in West Virginia that specializes in real estate to help us set up an LLC, file taxes, and a few other things. We live in Northern VA and our properties are in Berkeley County, WV.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Best,

Tony

@Antonio Figueroa you might need an attorney to set up the LLC and an accountant on the back end for taxes and whatnot. I use Mark Kohler's firm since they do legal and have a sister company that does accounting. They focus primarily on Real Estate and operate in all 50 states which is convenient if you decided to do out of state investing. KKOS Lawyers is their firm. Mark also has some great content for free on YouTube if you ever want to nerd out on the tax and legal side of REI.
