Career Change at 26...Where do I get started?

Hey y’all!

I’m brand new getting into a real estate career. After working in the medical field since graduating college in 2016, I am looking forward to the challenges and the unending knowledge gained from being in this business. My wife and I live right outside Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. Our families reside near Indianapolis, IN so we are very familiar with that area as well.

I was just looking for some advice as to what you did to get started in the investing world. I’m already planning on taking real estate classes just to get acclimated to the different terms and laws regarding real estate. I’ve been listening to the podcast and each episode has been an explosion of knowledge! What books do you recommend? I’m sorry I’m not more detailed but just wanted to get some tips from y’all. I always want to learn from people who have been there, done that.

@Kaitlin Brewer Brandon Turner's "The Book on Rental Property Investing" is in my opinion the best starting point. David Green's book on BRRRR & long distance real estate investing were very influential for me also!
