Noob Real Estate Investor

Hello, my name is Tim. I am a young aspiring investor in need of some REI advice. I wish to purchase my first investment property by July 2021. I have a credit score of 675, work full time making about $20,000 annually and have about 6 grand to invest right now. So my questions are: Should I get a rental or rehab property? Would it be best to start with a town, single, or multi family home? Around how much should a property be worth for a person in my financial position (should a buy a home around 50K, 100K, 200K, etc)? I am new to biggerpockets and the world of investing so any advice will be much appreciated!
