Hi all,

I know it can be hard to go from learning about RE to actually doing something about it, so I thought I'd share this inspiration.

My parents are newly retired, and when I talked to my mom yesterday she was all stressed out about the stock market since the majority of their income is now based on their investments in the market. It reminded me of a couple of the reasons we are getting into this business- to diversify our investments and also for cash flow! Nice to own a piece of something not tied to the market :)

Anyways, it's not like my parents made any bad choices- they pay off their plastic each month, house is paid for, etc. When I told them we were buying rental property, they confessed that they had considered the same thing 40 years ago and could never get past the thinking phase. It just makes me wonder if they'd done it then, would they be stressed about the market now?

I hope this helps push you to make that first leap, or the next one!

Have a great day!

Kelly

And think about what you could accomplish in real estate over 40 years. 20 paid for homes? 40? 150 unit apartments?
