CT college housing rentals

Hi all,

I currently live in central ct (renting) and am in search of my first deal. I'd like to house hack a home for a year or two, then rent it out. A thought of mine would be to do this in a college town, and then rent out the house to students once I move out. Has anyone had success in any area's in particular in CT? I was looking into the QU area but it seems the town of Hamden is a bit strict on their student housing rules. Possibly UNH in West Haven?

Any insight would be much appreciated!

-Ryan

Hey Ryan, that would be great! I’ve lived here for a couple of years now and like the location. I’m interested in student housing as I think it would be a good niche of real estate investing to get into, my thought would be to rent single family homes by the room, to help generate more cashflow.
