@Gaby Liu - you didn't give enough information about your property, your problems or your solutions so far to solve them. If you have a property you do not want: 1) You can use an agent to list it on MLS as-is as a finish the job type sale and take a loss. 2) You can use a cash buyer to purchase it from you as is off market. Usually they will wholesale it to a flipper they work with and will buy it at a deep discount so they can make money. 3) You can execute your original plan to complete the rehab and rent it, however much money that takes. A great property manager or agent may be able to help you connect with a reliable contractor and help you design the house attractively with appropriate quality materials for the level of rental. Then help you rent it. A long term buy and hold will usually make money such that overpaying a little bit didn't matter.
