Initial Partnership Contribution

Hi everyone, purchasing a rental property with a friend.  Was wondering what should the initial contribution to the partnership be excluding the downpayment on the mortgage? We are also going to contribute 6 months of the mortgage payment as part of the reserve but how much more should we contribute initially to the partnership.
