New Investor JAX, FL - ISO Advice, Networking, Contractors

Phillip Dimacali
Posted

I am a recent college graduate and my day job is as a mechanical engineer. I am starting my investment portfolio with single-family housing; I am currently viewing and analyzing condos and stand-alone houses, 2/2 or 3/2, for BRRRR.

I would like to minimize expenses at first by managing the property and future properties myself; however, I realize that eventually I will need help as I scale. What steps do I need to take to legally and properly manage my properties particularly considering leasing, should I hire a landlord attorney, etc. Also, I would appreciate any advice for a newbie.

Thanks!
