Lied in sellers disclosure

Hello!

We are new to real estate investing and just purchased a house. In the sellers disclosures the seller said there was a leak where the lanai meets the roof but he fixed. We moved in about 2 weeks ago and it rained. There is like 5 leaks in the roof.

Would the seller be responsible for this fix if he lied in the disclosures and said it was fixed? And what would you do in our situation?

Thanks,

Jake
