Looking for a mentor in Colorado

Hello,

I'm a new investor in Colorado Springs, CO and very excited about the prospects of real estate investing. I've taken classes, read up on forums and articles, listened to pod casts and read a number of books.

What I feel I'm really looking for now is an experienced professional willing to lend a helping hand. I've started my wholesaling marketing awhile back, had a few leads but nothing I've been able to successfully act upon. Feeling as though I'm in a bit of of rut I could really use that extra hand or accountabilibuddy to keep pushing me. I'm very enthusiastic and eager to learn more and work with others.

As of now, my goal is to continue wholesaling building up capital so I can eventually buy a fix and hold type of property, preferably a plex of some size so I can qualify for first time home owner with HUD properties, live in it for the year required and fix it up while renting out other portions. Within 2 years I'm hoping I have the option to work at my full time job, I enjoy it... some days... and having the option to work or not would give me great comfort.

I'm looking forward to hearing from professionals about any books or material you'd suggest I read.

Thank you all
