New to Bigger Pockets

Hey guys, 

I just stumbled upon Bigger Pockets recently and looking to use it as a good networking tool (hopefully I'm posting this in the right place). Admittedly, I'm also new to real estate investing. I've been doing my homework for the past few months and have some ideas but have not gotten in on my first property yet. I like to think I know just enough to be dangerous but also looking to pick up on new ideas. I'm thinking of getting started with lease options in single family homes. Anyone have any luck in that arena around the Tampa, Fl area?
