Help in deciding which Niche to Pick!
So, after 20 years of working my butt off, I decided I need to do something more to create wealth. Real Estate is something I always wanted to do.
Question to the BP Community: Where is the best place to start with? I work 10 hour days and live in the suburbs of NYC, so an expensive area that generally doesn't cash flow, and limited time. I know I want Buy and hold, as I don't have the time to dedicate to other strategies. So, for B&H, what is the best area to start for a newbie? Out of state multifamily rentals, single family rental, short term vacation rental, etc?
Appreciate any suggestions.
I also am curious what markets make the most sense right now. I am thinking Sarasota area, Charlotte, Augusta GA. STR Vacation homes seem to be very hot right now with COVID, but curious what others think.
Thanks all
