Looking for advice on how to begin my real estate investing career

Hi all I live in jersey city NJ and just found out about this website and decided to ask and see what you guys think would be the best course of action. Im currently seeking to buy my own home first since I qualify for FHA credit which is 3.5% down and then opening up an llc to start using the money ill have left over to buy my first property. Now the questions I have is first is im pre approved for 250k for my first home is putting a 3.5% a smart choice? Second im new to the game what do you suggest I do to save money on my own home? Thirdly what could the first steps I take to reaching my goals I have a few realtors but don't know if I should have them help me or should I do it on my own so I can save money on fees and closing cost. Lastly I want to begin with my career just a little afraid to take that first step I feel like i'm stuck analyzing this too much lol and im a go getter but don't know how to go get it yet lol. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated since I hear so many good things about this community. Thanks all cant wait to hear from you all
