Purchasing a Single family with a line of credit?

What are your thoughts on purchasing a SFH with credit? This would be using credit for the down payment rather than cash. For someone with limited funds up front, what are the negative impacts this can have, assuming you are able to make your payments on time each month and retain your current job?
