New and looking to network and learn

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and just starting out in real estate I live in the Jersey Shore area. I've been in construction all my life and have gained a lot of knowledge with the construction side. I want to gain as much knowledge as I can with other aspects of real estate by networking and just listening to the pros. I'm really interested in fix and flips it's something I've always wanted to do. I'm 32 and we bought our 1st house a couple years ago with the goal to live in it and fix as we go. Now that we are getting to the end of our renovation we will be selling soon and will be looking to get 2 houses, one to fix and flip and one to live in. I'm curious what is everyone's take on getting funding for projects? I wanted to go the private route what would consider HML. It'll be great to be able to link up with some local people and hopefully be able to do some business one day.
