Is pursuing a real estate license worth it

Hey all! So I will be starting my real estate license courses in hopes of getting some experience in my market and the investment world...But I’ve heard it said that it is a costly job for sure! I am wondering from people who are investors/agents how it is going for you? My plan is to just continue to make more money in hopes of saving for my investments. I currently work part-time so I figured this was a smart move. I’m having a lot of doubts about my decision so I would appreciate all inputs! Thank you in advance.
