Inheriting Tenants & Transfer of Security Deposit

Hi everyone! 

Our team is investing in a duplex that will be inheriting tenants. We are trying to figure out the best way to go about the current tenants security deposit.


Should we request their security deposit to be transferred from the sellers to us? Should we ask for a credit?
