Recommended REI Groups to Join in North Carolina

Hello everyone!

I just recently joined BiggerPockets after reading a couple of Brandon Turner and Josh Dorkins books. I’m new to Real Estate investing so I’m still learning the ropes, but I’ve noticed the exquisite experience and networking skills that many members have here on BP.

With that said does anyone have any suggestions on some groups or meeting locations that they have attended and had some good experiences with in North Carolina? I’m just outside the Charlotte area in Hickory but I’m willing to travel for some great experiences and networking opportunities!
