Looking for my first investment (help)

Andrea Tejeda

Hello,

I’ve been listening to BiggerPockets real estate podcast and I’m reading Brandon’s book on rental property. I want to stop being in analysis paralysis and start looking for my first investment but I’m having trouble looking for location since there’s so many factors. I live in NYC and the houses are expensive. I have about $30,000, I’m open to house hacking upstate NY or around New York like New Jersey or Pennsylvania. What’s some advice in general, in locations and type of properties that I should look into?
