Investing with REIGs

Hello! 

I'm a current Electrical Engineering major in college, but have recently become interested in real estate investing. I've been doing some research on different ways to get involved, and one way that stood out to me was investing with REIGs. I read about them in this article, but still have a lot of questions that Google hasn't been able to help with.

My biggest question is how do I find/contact REIGs that are looking for investors?
