Tips for Newbies looking to develop their network during COVID?

Hello - after being around various facets of the real estate industry for most of my life, I'm looking to take the plunge as an investor. I'm originally from Central Florida but moved to the Greater Philadelphia area in recent years so my contact list is...well..let's just call it "light" :) . I am very aware that part of becoming confident in your ability to invest correlates with confidence with a "rolodex" with relationships that can be mutually beneficial. Looking for tips on how to develop your network with everything shutdown. Outside of bigger pockets forums, do you just call up random investors, contractors, and mortgage folks? Zoom networking events? Appreciate any thoughts.
