Realtor Problems trying to become and Investor

Posted

Hi All!

I am 26 and a realtor here in Texas although that is not what I want to do, I want my full time job to be a as an investor real estate is a stepping stone for me. I am running into an issue though because I am 1099 I have to wait two years and get two returns back before a bank will count that as income. I have savings and I have a steady flow of income from my fathers estate and I am trying to pay off all my debt. But is there any way I can get around it I am a veteran so there might be something with that IDK? Just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation being a realtor and an investor.
