My foot is in the door. How do I get to the next level?

I’m currently working for a company as a Property Manager. I manage two multi-family assets in the Charleston, SC area. (300 units total) I’ve been employed with the company for 2 1/2 years.

I’m looking to broaden my horizons in the Real Estate Industry. I want to get into investing.

While working in the industry, I have learned how to find and analyze great deals (in multiple markets).

Although bigger pockets, along with company training has been a tremendous help enhancing my knowledge; I’m not sure how to get started investing.

I am not looking to quit my job, I actually love it.

5 years down the road, I would love to quit my 9-5. However, I’ve learned so much beneficial knowledge, I don’t mind getting paid to learn more. :)

I want to be an investor of multi-family properties. I definitely wouldn’t mind single family; but I have more expierince in the multi-family sector.

Is there anyone out there with similar expierence? Any advice on steps you would take? Even if your experience isn’t similar, I would like to hear any and all advice for advancing my career in the Real Estate Industry.

Thank you in advance.
