Best Way to Leverage Accounting Degree

Hi,

I'm graduating with a Master's Degree in Accounting in April 2014. I'm completing a great internshpip in valuation and technical accounting right now at PwC. I have a lot of great offers for jobs out of school.

I'm very interested in real estate investing and was wondering what the best way to leverage my accounting/finance background would be in the real estate space. I'm not particulary interested in taxes but understand their importance so I don't know if real estate tax accounting is what I want for a full-time job.

I like talking with people and feel that I have decent sales skills. What type of job and company would give me the best experience to launch my real estate career? I would like to mitigate my risks at the start by having a steady salary while I learn about the industry and invest on the side.

Thanks everyone for your help. This is a great site.

Thanks,

Dan
