Where would you invest? - Dallas/Charlotte/Denver

Samuel Harrison
Posted

I will be relocating from abroad, and due to factors not related to real estate, have narrowed down the city of choice to Dallas, Houston, Charlotte or Denver.

So I wanted to get your opinion - if RE investing was your primary consideration, which metro area would you relocate to, and why?

I will be in a professional job full-time and would ideally like to live&flip and BRRR.

@Samuel Harrison don’t be discouraged by the property taxes here in Texas. I have investment properties here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. But partial to Ft. Worth area as the rental property sales prices, and property taxes are slightly lower. Plus they cash flow as well as any other parts of the DFW area. Keep in mind Texas doesn’t have a state income tax. So tenants have more income. Plus, the diversity of jobs by industry here make DFW area excellent area for investing. During COVID-19 all of our tenants have paid their rents too. I see that is a great concern among many posters on BP. So I wanted to let people know it’s business as usual here in the DFW area.
