Wholesalers near Birmingham, MI

Hi everyone!

This is my first post on BiggerPockets. I'm interested in starting my real estate journey in the metro Detroit area. My reason for joining BiggerPockets is to connect with wholesalers that would be willing to share their experience with me so I can get a better picture of the wholesaling process. My ultimate goal in real estate is to give back to the city of Detroit by fixing distressed houses (either to sell, rent, BRRRR, or hold). I'm a huge fan of Dave Ramsey and would like to pay for my early deals with cash to mitigate risk, get an understanding of the business, and develop my real estate portfolio. In order to do this with cash, I want to start with wholesaling real estate so I can develop the working capital needed to start flipping and renting out houses. I went to U of D Jesuit in Detroit for high school and it's always been my goal to give back to the community. I feel like this is my calling and if what I'm saying resonates with you and you'd be willing to meet me for a cup of coffee or a beer, please reach out!

Thanks!
