How can a newbie get started in real state with zero money down?

Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie to everything and I'm excited to start on my journey in investing in real state. However, I have some obstacles in my way, I'm reaching out to get some ideas that can help me. I understand that you need 20% down, plus closing cost, renovations, etc. However, what if you one does not have that money to put down and credit score is not up to par. How can a newbie like get started? I have ideas, like wait until I get my credit score up and have the money for the down payment. But we all know that time is money and I don't want to waist any more time, from the time I already waisted, thank you for taking the time to reply.
