Utilities analyzing question
Hi everyone!
I am starting to run numbers on potential properties to develop the skill on multi families in my criteria zone before I buy my first househack hopefully the next year. I am able to get most of the numbers to the property conservatively, but still get confused by the Utilities.
Is there a way to safely estimate electrical, gas, and water expenses by area/ property type/ ect. ? I assume it differentiates if they are separately metered VS. 1 meter for the property ect. I am just trying to get an idea of the principles of separately metered and 1 meter so I can go case by case and just implement the principles to understand what numbers go where and who pays for them. I am just trying to figure out what to put in the spots in the calculator! Haha!
Any advice is extremely appreciated!
Thank you,
Kyle
