Partnership US + Foreign National with an LLC

Juan Meryn
Posted

Hello, I am a foreign national that will start an RE investment company in the US in partnership with a US friend from Stanford Business School with great credit. We will form an LLC to pursue investments in multi-family in California and Texas. I was wondering:

- What would be the best way to leverage his credit rating to get good terms for mortgages for the LLC?

Besides this, I have A LOT of friends (also foreign investors) interested in single-family or small multi-family properties, assuming there is a price correction after covid, which is very likely. I might also provide a service for them in terms of finding and managing their deals. For such a case, I was wondering also if anyone here has information on mortgage brokers for foreign nationals.

Thanks!
