Withdrawing my 401(k) to House Hack with FHA
I want to house hack my first (investment) property, but i found out that most of the 2-4 units multifamilies a) need big renovations b) are in not the good neighborhoods c) dont need renovations, are in Okay areas but are too expensive. so i was doing some research and found out that it is possible to withdraw my 401k in order to have a larger downpayment (FHA) to purchase a good multifamily that doesnt need renovations. Do you have any recommendations? any tips? This would be my first property.
