Hello everyone, I’m in need of advice & strategies on getting a real estate/ rental property business . I’m a newbie In real estate, I’m yet to purchase my first home. And

1. I’m not sure if I should get a house for myself or buying a hud home, renovating it and then renting it out for section 8.

2. If I get a rental, I’m not sure where to get one. I heard that real estate is great in Ohio. Is this true? What other cities/states is real estate a profitable business in?

3. How do I go about financing an investment home? I qualify for a VA loan but the VA doesn't support investment homes.. what loans will be worthwhile for an investment home?

I’ll really appreciate everyones input on this.
