Pros and cons for a new would be real estate investor

Hello all, I am new to the real estate flipping and investment business. I am very interested in information in real estate investments. I just recently moved back to Chicago after 7 years due to a military assignment. I am open to talk or chat with any one who has pioneered the process of finding a great money lender for real estate investment. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Sam
