Leveraging Assets with my Current Paid Home in CA

Hello and thank you for any golden nuggets you provide.

My wife and I have been wrestling around with the idea of pulling equity out of our home in Southern California to use for investing. We purchased and paid off our home in 5 years using the Principles of Dave Ramsey.

However, we are in the next chapter of our lives and want to invest.

What would be the best way to pull money out of our home during this time with Covid limiting normal monetary leveraging?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
