Redfin/Zillow vs. Homepath Discrepancy?

Michael Russell
Posted

Hi, my name is Michael Russell and I am very new to real estate investing.  I am actively looking to find my first deal in the Oklahoma City area for a house hack.

I have a question about a posting I've seen across different platforms.  It's a half duplex listed as a Reverse Mortgage Foreclosure.  On Zillow and Redfin this listing is active but on Home Path it is under contract.  Does that happen often with properties?  I don't mind cross checking but after doing the work to analyze a deal it is slightly disappointing to see that it is under contract on a different website.

I do intend to follow up with the listing agent on the business day tomorrow.

Thank you!

Michael
