Connecting with attorneys for property leads

Devin Bost
Posted

I'm looking for properties that I can buy at discount/wholesale prices, and I've heard from a few people that attorneys can be good sources of investment property leads, especially for situations like people needing to sell quickly due to divorce, estate sales, etc. However, I don't have existing relationships with any of these kinds of attorneys, so I'm not really sure how to market to them because I'm not sure what their incentive would be. Why would they trust me enough to recommend me to their clients? Why would they bother spending their time trying to determine if I'd be trustworthy enough to provide a good service for their clients?

I'm sure there's a way to create these relationships effectively, but I'm just not sure where to start, so I'd like some guidance from those who have had success in this area.
