Paralysis by analysis...🤔

I'm brand new to real estate investing unless you count the two personal homes I've purchased. I've read most of the Rich Dad books, How to Invest With No Money, BRRRR, Finding and Funding and Best Ever Apartment Syndication books. I listen to all podcasts on investing and I feel like I'm getting the hang of things. I'm watching Brandon Turners YouTube video about the 6 laws to becoming a millionaire. He says, "you need to focus on the next thing to get you closer to your goal". My question is, what is the MOST important first step besides education to becoming a successful investor?

Outside of having money or access to it which it sounds like you have a grasp on, you want to decide on a strategy and then see if the market you have chosen is a good fit for that strategy because if it isn't you will be just spinning your wheels.
