Looking to invest out of state

Ali Suleiman
Posted

I currently live in California but in my current situation prices are too high for me to get in. I have recently been thinking about investing out of state maybe somewhere in Colorado. The only problem is I have not had much exposure to anywhere but California since I am so young.

Does anyone know of good ways to learn about a market out of state you are unfamiliar with? I don't mean what I can get for rent or how I can tell what properties go for there. I more mean where people like to live/visit there. Also what type of people live in certain types of cities there.
