Getting started in real estate investing.

Hello guys

I have been watching the bigger pockets pod cast and it has gotten me motivated on getting started on real estate investing. Questions I have before I get started is what is requirements to start it?

Is it good Idea to start an LLC company and put the income housing under there? I was told that since I live in PA that if you dont go the LLC route that you will have to live in the house for a year before renting it out to make money. Not sure how to begin with this any help or advice is helpful. Thank you for your time
