Real Estate Advice For A Beginner

Hello everyone! My name is Hunter Cone and I’m a 21 year old junior at USC in Columbia, SC. I’m an exercise science major and I plan on joining the Air Force after I graduate. I have a huge motivation to becoming financially independent and have done some research and found that real estate is a great opportunity for such a thing. As of right now I am saving up money and learning as much as I can about residential real estate as that is the kind of real estate that I would like to invest in. I’ve read a few books such as “Rental Property Investing” by Brandon Turner and “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” but wanted to know some other books and or podcasts that really delve into the specifics of investing to look into. I also wanted to know if they are any current military personnel or veterans who have any tips with rental properties and how they manage properties while moving every couple of years. Sorry for the long introduction!
