Real Estate Agent License

Hey everyone,

I am new to real estate investing and am looking for a way that I can find great deals. I am currently thinking of getting a real estate license so that I can access MLS. I was hoping to get some insight on whether or not this is the best way to go or whether I should just hire one.

What is your strategy when trying to find good deals?

@Erin Dorsey Robinson

I am from Southern California and was looking to invest in an area that offers more cash flow. Also looking for a smaller barrier to entry. Like you said it is difficult to find a good deal in an area you are not familiar with. Sounds like getting an agent in the area would be a better idea.
