Any tips for a 20 year old who wants to start investing?

Jelmer Hilhorst

Hi, my name is Jelmer. I own a small software company in the Netherlands called Royalution but i am also very intrested in real estate and building up cash flow. I am already reading many books about investing in real estate and business in general.

What are the key things to learn before i start investing in real estate and what is the best way to learn apart from the biggerpocket podcast, books and this forum?

Any tips?

@Jelmer Hilhorst My biggest tip right now is to house hack. You are young and I wish I would've done that when I was younger. Rent or buy a house with lots of bedrooms and charge your tenants for the room. I assume you will cashflow and live for free. SAVE all the money and buy a property.

Other than the podcasts, my advice is to find your niche or what you are interested in, go to REI groups, also BRRRR strategy is great and it is a good starting point. Best of luck!
