Demoing Old 1 Car Garage for a new 2 Car. Is it worth it?

I there new to the forum and looking to see if I can find some folks with some knowledge on the subject of building a detached garage. I live in the Baker neighborhood in Denver, and a majority of our neighbors have either an ADU/Garage or a 2+ car garage in the back.

Wanting to do the same and getting quotes around $30k. Is this a fair rate, is there anything I'm overlooking, will spending $30k get me near the same ROI on this garage?
